About the Book
This book is about struggles, happy times and describe my life and the many people
who made it what it is. I wrote this for people who feared of speaking of such topics
but gave me the chance to speak for them.
About the Author
Tyeera Riley, I've been writing poetry for four years now
I've started after the lost of my mother back in 05. She's the source
to my life and I breath her everyday. My most prized love is for the
up and coming DhP Productions with my lil brother Nick we made it boy.

Shattered Wings of Unwanted Starlight

Holding on to sweet nothings
By blue and bruised fingertips
The wind slowly passing by
Ripping torn and bloody nails free
Whispered shouts to infinity
Awaiting a slight echo of sound
within the stillness the reassure to me
That there are sparks that burn
beyond my own butterfly wings
of starlight shattered in rays
of brief fiery darkness before
dropping me to awaiting abyss
Falling faster than I can dream of
Fleeing all thoughts of you and all the before
Swallowed up in time and un-forgiveness
Drowning myself in complacency entrapment
Inside closed walls catching glimpses of other falling stars
Comets on burned tattered wings sitting on the edge staring
deep into that black hole of dark wavy water
looking in with a face of horror finding myself looking back at me
With an unknown stare solid and untraceable
Pleading up at the unknown look within my brown eyes for safety
For the thousandth time unanswered prays taunted me
Within it’s crocked smile turning my faith into dust on solar winds
Burning my eyes I drift into supernova
a fraction of instant before it demolished
returning me to corporal form unwanted
binding me fast in prison of flesh and tears
awaking drenched in sweat and clinging sheets
Still holding on to sweet nothings of dead falling stars
Shattered before me
