Since you retain ownership of the rights to your published book, you remain in control of your manuscript and would reap any financial earnings if you decide to publish with another publisher in the future, sell your manuscript to a movie production company, or if any other opportunities arise. You also have the freedom to select the royalty amount you earn when someone purchases your book.
Once published, your book will be available for purchase through our online Bookstore on our Web site. Plus, you have the option to upgrade to full retail distribution in the Ingram Book Network. Using Print-on-Demand technology, our printer can supply an infinite number of copies of your book. No matter the size of the order, small or large, books are conveniently printed whenever an order is placed, so you never have to deal with up front printing costs or storing books that you don't need.

Do I still own the rights to my book if I publish with Wordclay?
Yes. You retain ownership of the rights to your book. Unlike traditional publishers, you keep the rights after the book is published.
Can I publish my book with Wordclay and another publisher, too?
Yes. Since you retain the rights to your book, you can publish your materials with another publisher, sell the rights to a movie company, or anything else you wish to do with the material.
We do not have restrictions if your book is currently available through another publisher, or if you wish to publish your book elsewhere in the future. The only limitation is that you cannot use book files we create for you in their finished form and print the book exactly as it is with another publisher.

How much does it cost to publish with Wordclay?
You can sign up and start publishing today for free. There is no cost to register with our Web site and create your account. There is no cost to use our publishing wizard to turn your work into a published book.
Once your book is published, you can purchase it if you wish, but there is no obligation. We have additional goods and services that you can also purchase through our Services Store, but again, there is no obligation. The basic publishing experience of getting your manuscript into a finished book is entirely free.
How does Wordclay make money?
We make money through the goods and services we provide in our Services Store, such as the Softcover Channel Distribution and ISBN, cover or interior design services or promotions and marketing materials. We also make a very small percentage when a book is purchased by our authors or through our online Bookstore.

Does Wordclay have a price list of its services?
Yes, we do. Click here to download a price list of our services (PDF). All of our products and services and their prices are listed in our Services Store. Each item lists the price along with additional details about that item. You can search or browse the Services Store by category to find the type of service you're interested in, from editing to cover design or marketing products.
Can I publish a non-English book with Wordclay?
Yes. Any language can be published through Wordclay. Check on our allowable font list to ensure the font used in your manuscript supports the characters of the language.
Can Wordclay publish my book if I live outside of the United States?
Yes. Authors all over the globe can publish with Wordclay. We currently have world-wide distribution and printers in the United States and the United Kingdom.

Does Wordclay edit my book?
Our standard free publishing does not include any editing services; however, we do offer our professional editing services through our Services Store. We urge you to check out the details, because editing is an important step in publishing a quality book. Let one of our professional copy editors add a finishing touch of expertise to your manuscript and catch any grammar, spelling and punctuation errors that you may have overlooked.
Will Wordclay promote my book?
Our standard publishing service includes listing your book on our bookstore Web site. Additional promotional services can be purchased separately from our á la carte service menu. Take advantage of our promotional specialists and marketing materials available through Wordclay to expose your book to a concentrated or wide market.
Who will be able to purchase my book?
People all over the world will have access to your book through our online Bookstore. But if you wish to reach an even wider audience and increase the marketability of your book, you can choose to make your book available through channel distribution. This allows thousands of retailers, such as amazon.com, Barnes & Noble and Borders, to access to your book through their own suppliers and list it on their Web sites.

Is there a minimum or maximum number of books that I can or must order?
No, there are no minimum or maximum order requirements. As a print-on-demand publisher, we allow you the freedom to order as many or as few books as you wish. Wordclay does not require you to purchase any books, unlike some other self-publishers, which leaves many authors with the added cost of books, not to mention the hassle of storing unneeded books. With Wordclay, you can order books as needed. The books are printed and shipped in the same amount of time it takes to place any online order.
